Managing resources in games in Scratch is very inconvenient. When you have a large number of characters and costumes in your game, it is often difficult to quickly find the one you want to modify.
In TurboWarp and other Scratch tools, the sprite folder and costume folder solve this problem very well. Now, Gandi IDE has also updated this feature and designed to fit the Gandi IDE UI.
Let's take a look at how to create folders.
Creating folders
Import projects edited in TurboWarp
Gandi IDE adopts the same folder function as TurboWarp and other mainstream Scratch editors. If your project has created folders in TurboWarp, the created folders will be automatically displayed after importing into Gandi IDE.
Creating folders in the sprite menu
Click the option to create a folder in the sprite menu, and enter the name of the folder in the popup input box, and you can create a sprite folder. The name of the sprite will also be automatically modified.
Modifying character names
Of course, you can also create a new folder by modifying the name of the sprite, or add it to an existing folder.
The operation of the costume folder is similar. Come and try this new feature in Gandi IDE.
