Visual and auditory performance of a game is important. Some developers are good at programming, but weak in art. Lack of assets prevent many people from starting to create.
Gandi IDE provides a built-in Assets Store. There are backgrounds, costumes, sounds, sprites and scripts that have been optimized for Scratch. Creators can use assets in their projects.
Here is a step-by-step guide for you.
Step 1: Open Assets Marketplace
Click the icon at the left side of the editor.
Now, you open the Assets Marketplace.
Step 2: Find Assets
There are five categories in Assets Marketplace:
Bundles: Assets bundles with different styles and themes.
Costumes: Costumes of items, characters, backgrounds, UI elements, and others in PNG or SVG format.
Sounds: Sound effects and music in MP3 format.
Sprites: Characters, items, and UI elements in sprite3 format with preset scripts.
Scripts: Scratch Scripts.
You can search with keywords or set filters to find assets you want.
Step 3: Add It to Your Backpack
Click the button on the upper right corner of an asset.
The asset will be added to your cloud backpack. Just drag it into your project to use it.
You can manage all your assets in Cloud Backpack.
