Top creations of April 2024

We are delighted to see that more and more creators are publishing their creation on the Cocrea platform. To ensure these outstanding projects reach a wider audience, we will be selecting the best creations from the community each month. The selection criteria will be based on multiple dimensions, including playtime duration, originality, and the application of Gandi IDE techniques.

Today, we are honored to present the outstanding projects of April 2024. These projects not only showcase the unique creativity and technical prowess of the creators but also highlight their exceptional skills in using Gandi IDE. Through this showcase, we hope to inspire more creators to join the Cocrea community, enhancing and sharing their creative achievements.

Collection of Creations

Dealing with dice is a chance based incremental inspired by Balatro. The game excels in gameplay, interaction, and music design, showcasing remarkable quality. The programming complexity is notably high, utilizing many of Gandi IDE's proprietary extensions. This highlights the excellent collaboration and creative abilities of the creators, Outrun and Kasairo. With over 12,000 minutes of playtime, this project earned the top spot for April in terms of playtime duration.(Warning: This project contains gambling elements. The Cocrea platform does not encourage gambling and does not recommend it for minors.)

The author of this project is Sepezzah, the first user in the community whose project has exceeded 100,000 plays. What astonishes me is that this project is merely an introduction to character backstories, yet it has garnered such immense popularity. This speaks to Sepezzah’s influence and the community's love for Incredibox mod-themed projects. Despite being a simple introduction to character backgrounds, the project is meticulously crafted, akin to flipping through a beautifully illustrated book. It greatly enhances the story depth and narrative of the creation. This project ranked second in April with over 6,500 minutes of playtime.

Cocrea features a plethora of Incredibox-themed creations, many of which incorporate elements of horror. However, this particular project stands out with its unique style that blends seasonal transitions with corresponding music, backgrounds, and environments, providing users with a distinctive experience that evokes memories of past pleasant life scenes. This project ranked third in April with over 4,800 minutes of playtime.

This is a Hollow Knight-inspired scrolling platformer. Platform games are among the most common types of games in the Cocrea community, and The Shadow Reform is undoubtedly one of its gems. The creator has handled many details exceptionally well, with each scene being meticulously crafted. The project excels in interactivity, gameplay, and expressiveness. Even the design of the project's details page aligns perfectly with the game's thematic style. Given my limited brain cells, I can't experience every aspect of the game, but I highly recommend you to take on the challenge!

This game was created for the Gandi IDE No Communication challenge! In this challenge, 10 people collaborated on the game, each taking turns to cration on it for 2 days. It's currently known as the collaboration project with the highest number of participants and the best user experience. It not only demonstrates Gandi IDE's capability to facilitate collaborative creation among multiple users but also showcases the friendly communication and cooperation among community members.

GooseCraft is a 2D survival sandbox game inspired by Terraria and Minecraft. Immerse yourself in a world where you can explore, build, and survive using a variety of unique tools and mechanics. With its charming graphics and engaging gameplay, GooseCraft offers a fresh and delightful experience for fans of the genre.

This project is a chat room application created using the AI-Hub extension. The AI-Hub extension is highly popular within the community, with numerous projects built upon it. Among all chat room applications, this project stands out for its comprehensive features and excellent user experience, offering nearly complete functionality for real-time online interaction. If you're looking to implement a chat room feature in your own project, this serves as an outstanding template.
