Gandi IDE supports realtime online collaboration. Check out our guide for setup instructions:
How to Setup Realtime Online Collaboration with Friends? Here are three tips for you to collaborate effectively with Gandi IDE.
#1 Don‘t Share the Invitation Link in Public Spaces
Everyone with the invitation link can join the team and edit the project. Sharing it in public spaces is not safe at all.
The owner should send the link to members privately and make sure that they will not send it to others.
If the link is leaked accidentally, Don’t Panic. You can cancel it and generate a new one with this button.
#2 Close the Editor When not Working on the Project
When a member is logged in on the collaborative project, one of the sprites might be occupied.
If you are not working on the project, please don’t keep the editor tab open in your browser. Just close it to release the sprite you are working on. When you are back to work, open it again.
#3 Talk about Teamwork Before You Begin to Create
Collaboration without a plan will be chaotic.
Make sure that you have already made a plan before you start to work.
Determining in advance what to do and what not to do with the project will make things easier.
